A pleasant place to enjoy a few beers after a few hours walking the 3 Castles Path. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the tent with the other customers and staff. The only problem is that the 210 bus no longer runs past the pub. However, if you know your going to be there in advance, you can apparently book a taxishare service that kinda replaced the 210 bus.
Lovely walk down memory lane back at this gorgeous pub. Fantastic food and service. It felt really safe tables very spaced out.
Well organised for social distancing. Lovely efficient and friendly staff. Having chosen sirloin steak were informed that the quality of the new delivery was not up to their high standard and recommended that we switched to rump. Well done all round.
Discovered this pub on a family walk. Great measures in place for Covid-19, friendly and welcoming staff. We were only going to stop for a drink, but decided to eat. Really good Sunday roast and a decent selection on the kids menu. The play area for the kids was enjoyed. We will definitely be back.
