We visited in August 2019 and thoroughly loved it. We had a docile dog with us and she was accommodated fine once we gave a personal assurance of her good behaviour. The cream teas were truly amazing and great value for the quality. Went with my wife and sister-in-law who can both be a handful but loved the owner as she properly put them in their places. We even got instructed about jam then cream to make sure we’re not making the faux pas. No hesitation in coming back again, great food, great host, compliant women, what’s not to love!

a nice pleasant cafe. but slightly over priced. but I suppose the nature of the location determines the price. pleasant ambience and worth a visit

We've been going to Cornwall for years now, and Mousehole is always a must visit, wherever we've been staying. Funnily enough though, we've never eaten here before. All the food was lovely (soups/pasties/chips/desserts) and the staff nice, friendly and courteous (unlike one of the gift shops there). The only reason I've docked you a star ladies, is the service was little slow for desserts, due to the demand for takeaways, which must be a good sign really. Will definitely visit again, thank you

Super friendly staff (Gail, I believe) and were made to feel very welcome. We came on a Sunday with the intention of a roast, which my girlfriend had, but I just had to have the lobster Mac and cheese on the menu - which was sublime! We couldn't resist ordering a cream tea and slice of coffee & walnut cake to takeaway. Lovely, fresh and still warm scones with clotted cream and jam was fantastic! We were jokingly reminded of the \correct\ way round to apply the cream and jam and we made sure to take note haha. Next time we are in Mousehole we'll definitely come back in.

We waited 1/2 hr for a table but it was worth it, we had the Sunday Roast & 3 different desserts. It was fantastic. I've been in the catering trade which makes my review normally difficult but this time 10 / 10.
