I had contact through jail mail with an inmate writing letters back & forth in September 2018. I even spoke to his mother in person & everything seemed to be true. I lost contact when I moved. He was allegedly released on bail in October & said he had trial set for January to determine a 6 year sentence. I called & confirmed that with de courts around that time. When January came, I called de courts to confirm what time it would start. Both de prison & courts said they did not have a record of this particular imprisonment, there was no court date on file whatsoever. They said that he was not sentenced to prison. I also called de jail & Little Rock prison & they said he was not there. When I called nobody ever asked me to identify myself over de phone so if there was something that came as an issue of me inquiring this information, no one could have said so. They literally acted like this whole entire ordeal never existed but of course I did keep screen shots of de jail mail messages. They make on line files of letters mailed to de court & de inmate sees them online. Also visitation is online. I did not do a video visitation. Of course he was an inmate so it's not clear who was giving me de run around because it seemed like de police were running a fast one on me but I wouldn't put it past de inmate.

Got face slammed into a bench by 2 officers for no reason. They deny inmates privileges including phone and incoming mail on a regular basis. They rarely respond to grievances and when they do they still don't fix the issues! I could go on all day!

Staff is not helpful. I cannot find out how to get someone put of jail as I've never done it before. Only through the community did I learn the information I needed to know. Thanks for the inconvenience. ....
