Nice little inn. A little run down but the home cooked breakfast in the cafe in the morning makes it worth it. Definately way way off the beaten trail but if you find yourself on the last ferry for the night then this is your place.
Review is for the restaurant: Will upgrade my review when they make home made patties and fries again! Currently 3 stars. Buffet Friday roast beef is usually pretty great though.
Not a bad little cafe ,diner, for the only one in the village . Breakfast is great, and burgers are good . Considering the food is all frozen and shipped in Service very friendly
One of my favorite places in my Hometown of Fort Simpson. No other place gives me the joy and happiness when I order a burger. I've had burgers all over the country and nothing compares to the hand pressed patties here. I've had almost everything on the menu and they are all good. The service is on par with a diner and you get to experience a coffee shop experience with prices that aren't too extreme for the north. I've never stayed at the motel but the prices are fair. Best burger in the north and possibly in Canada. Coffee is as good as the service.
A nice little clean shop. Can see the chef hittin hard out there. I like that. Alot. I'm excited for the roast beef buffet Fridays at lunch.
Went here for breakfast one morning and to enjoy the lounge one evening. Staff were friendly, pool table was free at the moment. Breakfast was great - a real local spot for food. Lost a star more because you've got to come here with small town expectations than anything else. Food was great, not world class though, decor is in need of a renovation.
Decent place to stay. Prices are pretty reasonable for the North. Front desk staff were very friendly.
