Myself and everyone else in the waiting area waited over an hour past our appointment time. The printer on the ticket kiosk was broken so no one knew their ticket number , and then after about 45 minutes, the TV computer screen crashed so everyone was lost in the sauce. They were two people working. I was attempting to get my dependent added in Deers. The lady working said my dependent’s passport was not sufficient enough for his photo identification. I opened up his passport, pointed at his photo, and said, “that’s literally a photo right there. This is federally issued”. She insisted that she needed his drivers license instead. A freaking state issued ID instead of a federal one. I started arguing with her, and she got hostile. So I walked out. I will be making an ice complaint in addition. Absolutely worthless employees that need to be fired.

ID card office is a disgrace and an outrageous disservice to active and retired members of the military. They did not honor their appointments, were arrogant and unhelpful to families waiting hours for ID cards, and made no attempt to advise waiting room occupants on status of appointments. Command attention urgently needed to this operation.

I worked there in 1972 - 1973. Our soldiers and civilian coworkers were the best I served with during my 20 years in the Army.
