The Stranahan House is so beautiful and filled with more history than I imagined. It was lovely to learn all about the Stranahans. They were compassionate people with so many interests. Sophia, our tour guide, was spectacular. She was knowledgeable & engaging and pointed out all the original furniture. It was so much fun. She introduced us to John, the caretaker of 30 years, who knew Ivy, the former lady of the house. His stories transported you back in time. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

Girlfriend and I absolutely loved this tour! Highly recommend doing the tour because they’re able to explain everything in details. Fun experience and the student discount helped us save!

The house tour was very interesting and our tour guide was very sweet and gave a great tour. After our tour we met John in the garden on the way out and he has so much knowledge about the house and Fort Lauderdale in general! He maintains the house and knew some of the family that lived there! We told him he should write a book... such an amazing guy!
