Never experienced anything like this until moving here. Although it’s on post housing the neighborhood is rough. It does not feel safe as on post housing should. Vandalism, break-ins etc and no one seems to take it serious nor do they want residents to have cameras. Even after complaints the area isn’t patrolled regularly. I loved living close to my job and kids daycare but moved because I’d rather take the drive than have my kids and I not feeling safe and at peace in our own home.

Poor living conditions in the old housing. We have lived here for almost two years and have been dealing with the same roof leak/mold build up issues. The maintenance team took about 1 month for remove mold but it has been around 1 year with the repairs for leaks which lead to closets replacements we are still waiting on. Good thing I have renters insurance which covered all the damage done due to leak in master bedroom and bathroom. Been calling talking to staff for over 6 months since the initial second clean up stage on same issue. Overall the outside community has been receiving great updates to the parks where my kids enjoying playing. The turn around time on my housing issue is just unacceptable with the turn around to proper fixing. The community also has rent adjust that move with BAH only during increases. Which mean more pay now that BAH has increased while I still have the same issues. Transferring this season is the only reason we haven’t moved out yet.

Definitely the best military housing we have ever lived in. Housing staff are attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Our experience with this housing community is sub par at best. The strive for five campaign that they run should be more like let’s try for two cause that’s all they deserve. When it takes command involvement to get things fixed or taken care of people should be fired. But what do they care regardless they still get your full BAH no matter the time it takes to fix.

Been here a week and I'm a little concerned about how our work order is going. The shower leaks and the flooring downstairs is so cheap it peels just walking over it. Our toilet broke on day 3 too along with our closet lights. North village also has children who like to ding-dong-ditch. Not good for parents with little ones trying to nap. I had to disable the door bell. But I'd like to give these folks the benefit of doubt. Aside from the small inconveniences the house is so beautiful and has loads of room. Parks are so close and I cannot say enough about Jessica at the housing office. So welcoming and sweet! The community is hit or miss but my neighbors seem nice and there is a nice gym and plenty of stuff for families to do. The pros outweigh the cons. It's TRUE, you could live off post for cheaper but you get what you pay for. So far on post is the better choice.
