Interesting place to visit by Kayak. Beware of the mud on approach. Easiest at mid to high tide approaching between the scuppered boats.

Intact sea fort with strong wooden bridge and easy access by small boat.
Although I haven't visited (yet) there is a great film on YouTube of a guy who Stayed here for 45 days to find peace within himself, the film is called 'otherness'.
This is privately owned and whilst visitors are welcomed permission from the owner should be sought before staying for any length of time.
Nice venue very peaceful lite on facilities but dry and warm. Only assessable by the drave or mad. Would be better if people cleared up after them selves and only left foot prints in mud.
