What a smart place with a great menu and super friendly staff! Glad I diverted off the road on my Edinburgh to Anerdeen road trip! Delicious food and fair prices. Recommended!

Everything about our visit to Forgan's was perfect. The restaurant was fully booked when I phoned. The lady on the phone offered me a different night, but when I explained that we were only in the area for one night she went out of her way to find us a table. The booking process was efficient and gave me confidence that they were taking track and trace responsibilities very seriously. On arriving we walked through the beautiful lane lined with gorgeous plants and trinkets and soft lighting. Inside the restaurant there is a variety of different dining rooms, booths, tables and seating areas. All parts of the restaurant are beautifully decorated. The menu has something for everyone. The goats cheese and beetroot tart is gorgeous. I tried vegan fish and chips - bizarre! But I was not disappointed. Meat eaters will love this place too. There looked to be some great meaty dishes on offer. To top it all off, the service was outstanding. Our waitress took lots of time to accommodate a guest's allergy and talked me through the vegetarian options. I didn't get her name, but she really is a star. Thank you all so much for a fantastic meal.
They had run out of a few key things, but we were offered alternatives. Had a few missing items, but all was sorted swiftly. Great service. Would be nice to have more choice of alco free beers seeing as the ban is here for a bit longer, the 0% Tenants tastes like metal!
Had to jump on a conference call so popped into Forgan’s, front cafe area was busy but bartender offered me a quiet spot in the main section. Ordered coffee and got myself settle, conference call postponed ha! Never the less had a lovely coffee with fab service and was able to do some work. Thanks Forgan’s
Much improved by the covering around the kitchen now. Open kitchens are a cute idea but it leaves diners stinking by the time they leave. This has since been resolved by closing the kitchen. Lovely setting and the staff provide a polite service. Food was prompt but not worth the prices. Cocktails were extremely over priced too considering they weren't too fancy.
