Great for an evening meal; been here loads of times over the years. Offers standard pub grub. Portion sizes are generous, especially the burgers with chips. I enjoyed my vegetarian katsu curry. It was probably creamier than other katsu curries i have had. The chicken liver pâté starter was also good. Service was quick and friendly. Appropriate Covid secure measures were also in place.
Had a lovely meal Sunday roast. Best Sunday roast we have had. The service was very very good a very professional blonde haired waitress. The restaurant is well laid out and follows all covid rules. Will definatly go again Dave and jill Dundee
Food was good and well priced. Tables had plenty of space between them and cleared and clean regularly. Service was good and friendly. Parking could be a bit of a problem but I am quite sure about that.
We had an excellent meal at The Stag restaurant. We all really enjoyed our meals. Steal and ale pie was great. Lots of steak and delicious hand cut chips. Very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.
