A wonderful castle set in idyllic grounds with the magnificent Highland coo within the grounds too. The castle really is as impressive as youtube videos and other reviews would lead you to believe. Its very large and in a wonderful state of repair. We toured the grounds etc too and wondered down the Macbeth trail to the Italian and walled gardens. Overall I highly recommend.

Stunning castle with lovely gardens, perfect to do some picnic. In the gardens, you can find three different ones: the Italian, the pinetum with 7 wooded sculptures of Macbeth and the walled garden. There is as well a curious pet cemetery next to the castle. The ticket costs 15,50 and the parking is included. It's a good idea to bring some picnic and spend the hole day.

Visited during Coronavirus pandemic and so it was a lot quieter than usual. The staff were friendly and we were able to explore on our own for the whole visit.
Beautiful castle with a lovely garden. Spent hours walking around the garden after visiting the castle. Great place to visit with your family.

A really enjoyable place for the whole family. Our family went with all ages and they all loved the castle tour, gardens and the kids play area. Friendly staff and a nice gift shop too.
Was our abarth car meet social distanced and staff at castle were helpful professional courteous and knowledgeable great day
