It's a nice shop with a good range of stock if you're into scented candles/oils/incense. The Yankee Candle prices are very competitive (often the cheapest we have found) and the staff are always pleasant & helpful. It is quite a small shop with narrow walkways,so I can see how it might feel like the staff are following you- but a lot of the time I have noticed they are moving stock or facing up the displays. Also I guess some of the items are quite expensive so they may be instructed to be vigilant for theft etc. It's well worth popping in for a look if you are in Stockport shopping around. Yes you can probably find similar stuff cheaper online,but that's probably true of most things now unfortunately. I still prefer to buy from a shop,as it keeps people in jobs and also easier for me if I have any issues with anything and need to go back. Some of their artwork sculptures are amazing!! It's also maybe worth a mention that I bought two aroma diffusers from here about 2 years ago and they are both still goung strong after a lot of use.

I am a regular customer and went in this morning with a ten pound voucher and got some burning oil costing 12.50 and gave 2.50 balance but was told I would not a stamp on my loyalty card as I needed to spend 10. Surely the voucher is classed as cash so i should get a stamp on my loyalty card. Will not be shopping there again as its a rip off, Plus you can get the same items on Amazon cheaper so they have lost a valued customer
