We hadn't booked for lunch but they were OK with it. We got a nice table next to bar by the window. Menu was great. My friend who is a fussy vegetarian was happy with her meal. Only feedback was that we did wait a wee while for food.

Seriously good food Great staff We booked a second visit before we left first time Burgers really filling. Parmesan chips are recommended as seen on the photos The halloumi starter was fantastic The hot-dog for the kids was good Desert of salted caramel ice cream or sticky toffee pudding was delicious Range of drinks very good too.. full bar of choice
Excellent gastropub on Portobello High Street. The menu is quite small but perfectly executed, the staff are super cool and they are very serious about the covid safety measures without turning the experience into an Orwellian episode. So hats off to the staff and management. I live in the city centre and happily walk there with my partner to work up an appetite for an excellent lunch. Highly recommended.
Had a beautiful meal there with my partner . Staff quick and efficient.Order taken within minutes of getting table. Drinks and meals followed shortly after. Lovely decor and seating comfortable. Restaurant was busy but not overly. Staff following ppe to the letter. Would highly recommend the beef ànd triple cooked chips.
so good to have this friendly local pub open again. Good quality food and wonderfully welocoming team.
