One of the better Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. The food does not taste the same as the other restaurants in the area.

Food House is on the same end of Gerrard Street as the grocers, right by the gate. No English sign. The food here is excellent with best lamb Skewers I think in London that I've had. I'm also a huge fan of the chive pie (on the menu under noodle dishes.) Staff are also very friendly. Not super glamorous inside with stacks of empty cardboard boxes in corners. But this is a place to go and eat good Szechuan food.

Have been here plenty of times. Food always very good, especially spicy hot pot and 'preserved egg with tofu'! It is the MUST EAT restaurant in London among my friends who has stayed in the UK for a few years. BUT the service could be more effective and more considerate. We usually wait for ordering for a long time. Sometimes the spicy hot pot doesn't come with the rice which we ordered.
