Five Stars to Fontwell Races even though I lost most of my money (ha ha) what a lovely day had by all. We parked in the middle of the course (5 charge) and by doing this you can take your own picnic for the whole family including alcohol. There was a free, old fashion fairground with rides for the kids it made a lovely family atmosphere. Now for the racing... the size of some of the races/fields were small in number but the jockeys gave us excitement and frills to enjoy. The great advantage of Fontwell is the configuration of the course it is a figure of eight with great views and in places you could nearly touch the magnificent horses. A top notch day we will return again and again.
Lovely little jump racecourse. Currently limited to behind closed doors racing but once public racing recommences it's well worth a visit. Very friendly staff make this venue a pleasure to visit.
Here for fireworks in the premier lounge. Good atmosphere but food portions getting ridiculously small. Was not enough cooked to cater for everyone? Check out lasagna, which although good - that's a side plate it's being served on. 27 per head.
What a fantastic day out loved it for a first time ever experience . I did bet and had a nice 78.10p win . We had a lovely meal there and live music all facilities available plenty of drinks and other foods available security there plenty of car parking saw beautiful horses every one was happy made for such a great first time
