We thought the food and service was great. They graciously spoke English to us and made us feel welcome. Food was simple and tasty. We ordered from the prix fixe menu and it was plenty of food for only 28. I had \vegetable donuts\ which is actually vegetable tempura with a yummy salad and really good olive oil and balsamic dressing. My entree was the trout with chorizo sauce. Trout was good, similar to a salmon flavor. It could have been a little more moist but was still excellent to eat. The chorizo sauce tastes more like chipotle flavor and covers the plate rather than drizzled on top. I like that much better as I'm not big on sauces. My side was the rice which I would pass on next time. It was just a plain white rice. I was hoping for a flavored rice. I had creme brulee for dessert that was coffee flavor that was delicious. My husband had salmon tartare. It was citrusy and pretty simple. It was good quality. His entree was the pork tenderloin. This was the best dish of all! Moist and tasty. His side were vegetables, they were steamed squash with simple seasoning. Both dishes came with a side that had a green corn tamale taste. I'm not sure what it was but it eased delicious. Dessert was the chocolate cake that turned out to be chocolate souffle! This was actually the best dish! Soft chocolate cake with a melted chocolate center. I'm going back just for the souffle! Everything was simple flavor and great quality. A few dishes could be improved but overall we liked it. The outside dining area has a nice ambience and beautiful to sit and watch the people going by.

The food/drinks might have been fantastic, but we will never know. We took a place on the terace, there was just one other table occupied beside us. The waiter seemed familiar or at least had a drink with the other guess while explaining how he liked working in winter better than in summer. For whole 15 minutes we were completely ignored, not even offered a card or the chance to order drinks. All while being in direct sight of the waiter who just decided to had other priorities than serving or taking notice of other guest (and yes it was indeed the waiter, not maybe a Person that didnt actually work there). We decided to leave, so we will never know how the food would have been like

Let's start with the good things to say. The location is right in the middle of the village, the staff were friendly. So friendly I feel I shouldn't post a review of our dinner but it really was the worst French meal I have ever had. The pork chops were dry almost inedible with a few tossed greens. Looking to the other meals served to other customers, I really can't understand how some have given this a 5 star rating. I really wish I didn't have to write this but I wish someone else had.

Best location ever. Now service WORST EVER, I’m sad that I cannot leave less than one star because they don’t deserve it. The food is as bad as it get... for a bar around the corner. Now let’s talk about the server, impolite, arrogant, deprived of manners shouldn’t be working in a restaurant. And the owner gives them as many excuses as possible. She isn’t good either. A bon entendeur... salut
