The road to access is narrow with two-way traffic, but beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking with large parking spaces. The garden itself is really well maintained and laid out, with a vast array of plants, flowers, trees, fruits and vegetables. It's a really pleasant walk with a little grass maze and play area for smaller kids. There's a little tea room/cafe, a shop and a shop. Highly recommended for a relaxing and scenic walk, all the while accompanied by the wonderful smells of the garden.

Nice gardens to walk round and friendly staff to chat to. Cafe was OK, but lacked proper consideration for kids. Asked for a cheese and ham sandwich and got a doorstep that was way too big for a child and not presented in a child friendly manner. Still good quality though
Wasn't the best afternoon tea we've had unfortunately. The staff couldn't have been nicer, so helpful and friendly but just wasn't overly impressed with the afternoon tea. Although bread was very fresh and fillings lovely, the bread was very thick sliced. Sausage rolls and quiche were served cold and wasn't impressed with some of the cakes. Such a shame as we love going there when we're on holiday. Prefer the coffee and scones I'm afraid.
Really nice people working there with amazing herbs and all sorts of flowers. Very pretty and would highly recommend.
