This is probably one of the best fish and chip shops around the UK. Granted, you can’t currently sit in due to COVID-19 restrictions, but that doesn’t stop the food from being amazing! Normally when sitting in, for an extra 1 you can order tea and buttered bread for the table. Obviously this isn’t possible at the moment. I usually go for a black pudding supper, (for non-Scots that’s a deep-fried black pudding with chips) followed by the classic — a deep-fried Mars Bar. Soft, slightly melting inside and still warm, this is some of the best food in Scotland. If you’re ever up on the coast near Elgin, head down the road to Fochabers Fish Bar and drop in. You won’t be disappointed!
Great fish and well organised in terms of COVID compliance. Not sure if staff were chatting or why they missed the tartare sauce - a long drive home and a bit disappointed as had raved about how much my parents would love it.
Best fish and chips ever had. Fresh fish of the day. The battered fish just melted in my mouth cause it is soo fresh
