Revisiting an old friend, in our absence Flounders has changed hands, were we disappointed, hell no... Ordered Fish & Chips and Chips & gravy, 2 cans of Dandelion & Burdock and forks... Once we'd found a lovely spot to eat our lunch we tucked in with relish... The chips were perfect, not an eye or blemish on them, the fish (haddock) was cooked to perfection, the batter was light and crispy and tasted delicious the haddock was moist and flaky.. The gravy was lovely. No fault could be found... Would recommend this chippy to anyone, it's a real hidden gem..

Visited twice in September whilst at Lakeland and these were the best fish and chips i had had in years. Fresh proper chippy chips and beautiful crispy batter. Highly recommended
