Love this bakery. Superb cakes & breads of course, but we really like popping in there for lunch occasionally as their salads, soups and light hot food is delicious. Quaint little setting, tiny place essentially with lots of character. Friendly service.

Busy coffee shop and justifiably so! Very good coffee with an excellent selection of cakes and pastries. Well known locally for their excellent bread.
Croissant was delicious although I wish I had asked to have it heated up. Coffee very good, tables socially distanced and staff friendly behind their masks. Lots to choose from as always.
We were staying a few miles away and, being extremely partial to decent bread, my other half checked online for bakeries in the area. It was 15 minutes each way, and well worth the trip. As you can see from the photos, they've got an impressive choice of breads, rolls and cakes. We tried the white tin loaf, some ciabatta rolls, some white rolls, a sausage roll and a tea and coffee - they were all excellent. For me, these places are a reminder of how close we got to losing all our craft bakers to the tyranny of the supermarkets. Thankfully, the tide appears to be turning, and the results are delicious :-)
