It's a must do, after a great walk on the front at Fleetwood, relax on the ferry to Knot End, see L S Lowry, and have a drink in the Bourne Arms.

Very reliable service between Fleetwood and Knott End. Check the timetable though as at the lowest tide times the service can be more limited. It is a quick crossing for the cost of 2. I recommend this as an alternative to driving the whole way around. The staff were friendly and ensured the service was as efficient as possible.

Have a piece of nostalga on this flat bottomed ferry its amazing and takes minutes to cross the Wyre estuary, please if your in the area do use it to support this fabulous boat

Much better than it used to be. I lived in Presall as a kid in the 80s and it was a dangerous crossing. Once I fell between the slimy jetty and boat whilst boarding and got crushed alive but lived. Another time we got pulled into a whirlpool midway across which really did suck. I also recall once the currents and wind blowing us off course towards Morecambe bay.
