I see where it gets its name from, It's amazing the size of the flames they cook on. Chef cooked garlic mushrooms on a 4' flame straight out the cooker. I got talking to him and he said they've tried higher flames, 5'-7', but the ceiling caught on fire. They seem to have a wood burning pizza oven but use old tyres instead of wood to fuel it. Was told the tyres give off a better heat than wood so that's fair enough. Great place, love it

Been ordering from flames for ages and always happy until tonight.the Turkey ham is disgusting has ruined the whole pizza. Phoned to complain and they said nothing can be done, so out of money and food. Unfortunately lost a customer now!
Best about love the food and excellent service
The food was absolutely revolting. The BBQ chicken pizza was just BBQ sauce, no chicken. They used BBQ sauce instead of tomato puree and the cheese just slithered off the sauce, the stir fry was completely frazzled and completely dry not a sign of sauce anywhere it had to be thrown away as it wasn't edible and we waited an hour for it. I'll never use this place again. Honestly order from ANYWHERE else!!
I have ordered 2 emperor kebabs from here for collection in the past month or so. One of the nicest kebabs I have had in Leeds.
