Flakes Of Moseley

It was a choice between Dad's Lane and here as I was close to Moseley. So I gave Flakes a punt. Glad I did. I was pretty impressed. Amazing portions for a reasonable price and more than I could eat. Batter and fish was a bit dry. Not greasy at all but batter just a bit too heavy. Can't fault the chips. Scallop was a bit thin but tasty. The shop is very well appointed and there are a row of tables and chairs to sit in. Highly recommended. Don't believe the one star reviews.

My Neighbours recommended Flakes of Moseley and the food did not disappoint! The staff are really lovely and friendly! The chips are so fluffy and soft and the fish is always really crispy and flaky from inside. This is my go to place for fish and chips since moving to Moseley!

Literally love this place! Chips are bang on. Fish is always good quality. Kebabs are really nice. Good price. On top, every one of the staff is friendly and has good chat. They've implemented good social distancing rules too. Highly recommend

If you're ordering for delivery I would strongly advise against it. Consistently gets the order wrong and will be missing several items. Today I ordered standard \Fish and Chips\. I was surprised to see that the fish had been crammed inside a bun and served with salad and tomatoes. Surely this is a wind up or is this new a culinary fusion I'm not aware of? Drink, and both sauces missing. Even managed to send the wrong chicken burger, truly woeful. Receipt also attached for reference.
