Great atmosphere Friendly staff Good nosh Delicious plum porter Delightful selection of special ales Super value. Sports were on various screens but not imposing if you did not want to watch. Good selection of music yet not loud enough to impose. Everything about this pub was very pleasant and made a really nice stop for a pint and a bite to eat. All in all - a fantastic traditional pub. Highly recommended

Nice place with reasonable selection of real ales at a good price. Haven't tried the food so can't comment. Generally quite busy.
Always a nice pint. But its always to bright in there. Great in the summer sitting outside.
