Jock and Duncan provide a great fishing experience!!! I just returned from a short trip to Edinburgh Scotland and can report that myself and two sons (32 & 22 yrs) had a great time fishing with Jock. He was absolutely a one-of-kind instructor for novice fly fishermen and had us up and running in no time. The venue was gorgeous...the heather was just starting to sprout, geese on the loch and nice sized rainbow trout. I great experience for all and certainly made our trip that much more memorable. Thanks guys...we'll be back! Donald

Went on a trip with Neil in late September 2019 near Pitlochry. Asked to see some native brown trout in their natural habitat, and Neil delivered. Took me to some very scenic spots on a section of the Upper Tummel that we had to ourselves all day, and got a handful of colourful and feisty browns to the net. When the fish decided to take a break from biting, Neil helped me refine my casting and mending techniques, and we did a bit of workshop on roll casting to help with the tight confines of the smaller section of the creek we were fishing. I felt very much improved from the beginning of the day to the end. Neil is a wonderful guide -- down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and great to have a conversation with. (I took his advice for a hike to go on the next day, and his suggestion was bang on.) I was having so much fun on the river I forgot to eat until the day was over and we got back to his van. Both Neil and Duncan were accommodating and easy to communicate with via email, and I'm grateful they were able to squeeze me in last minute when another guiding company cancelled on me due to a family emergency.

Our family had a wonderful time fishing with Duncan and Tom - this was one of the highlights of our trip. Duncan went above and beyond to maximize our chance of catching salmon while also having a great time. As our group had varying skill levels, we appreciated the patient instruction for the beginners in our group. We certainly saw a lot of salmon, and ended the day as better anglers. For the more experienced ones, Duncan and Tom also set up a few lines for trout, which were feeding at the time. The whole day was very professionally run. Couldn’t ask for more. Overall, highly recommended to anyone seeing a professional, authentic and friendly Scottish salmon fishing experience.

My partner and I did the blast and cast trip for her birthday and it was easily one of the best day trips we've together. The shooting was great, and the instructor was very helpful. Richard was an outstanding and highly knowledgeable guide, who really went out of his way to make the day special - from recommending the best places to get food, to even giving my partner a birthday present. The scenery was stunning throughout, and had a genuine sense of being in the wild. We will definitely be going again, and have already recommended it to friends and family!

Great salmon fishing, thoroughly enjoyed our day. We could see plenty of salmon jumping but were unsuccessful in catching any. This didn't detract from our experience. Tom our guide was very friendly and good company showing us how to cast in order to maximise our opportunities in catching any salmon
