Couldn't get a picture because I was SO excited to dive into my bag of Seafood Boil Mix! First of all the service was very professional and very accommodating. The day we went was the last day of the #EOTHO offer so it was so busy but we never felt ignored or just left outside. We were given regular updates and we didn't actually have to wait too long for a table. The wait so worth it though. The team gave us aprons and gloves to suit up. I wondered why at the beginning but then I realised that as soon as that bag of glorious food is in front of you, you need all the PPE because you are way too busy enjoying to think about table manners! For the price I was so so so happy. Crab, lobster, prawns, corn on a cob and boiled potatoes all sitting in the juiciest sauce ever. I can honestly say the best place I have eaten in a while. I HIGHLY recommend. If you like to dig in and not be too fussy with shells and tails then it may not be for you but all in all, I'm so pleased with FishBowl Brixton. Keep it up guys!

Went there twice. First time the chips were really good. Crispy and yet soft and very tasty. Much tastier than the prawns I had them with. This was a take away and had to sit down and wait. Last week or so went back. Was told to wait 15 mins and not offered a seat. I went off and came back after 15mins and still not ready despite the place not being packed and thus time asked to take a seat and wait for my take away order I opted to leave again since I had not been given that option the first time. Finally got my food when I returned. The squid and chips. Yes I was disappointed. The chips were not the same and not like the first time. They weren't crisp. You know like double fried or something. And the squid just plain soggy too. The salad, well, their knife must be blunt or something. No points for presentation. I'd give this a 4 out of 10. Suffice to say, I won't be returning.
Fishbowl is delicious. We moved to Brixton very recently and have had the lobster bag twice now. Also tried the squid with chips which was really tasty and everyone at the restaurant are lovely and friendly. Would 100% recommend when you're looking for that seafood fix!
I had passed this place many of times then heard about how great it was and being a black owned business it was important for me to support especially when it comes to my favourite seafood. I wasn't disappointed the food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. I'm already thinking when I'm visiting again next lol. Thank you to all the staff at fishbowl keep up the good work.
Had an absolutely amazing first experience here this evening. The seafood boil was delicious, piping hot (how I like my food) but the seafood was still succulent. Everything was seasoned well and the service was great. There was a tiny delay to be seated, but with all the covid restrictions in place it’s understandable. Would definitely recommend!
