Chips are fantastic, cooked to order and taste great. The portions are very generous, you definitely get your money's worth. However, the star attraction for me was the burgers; they're massive and incredibly well made. It was difficult to pick a single burger from the list as there was a wide selection available and they all sounded great. We chose to go for a Tennessee, a Blues Brothers and a chicken burger and each was fantastic. I couldn't rate Fish 'N' Fry highly enough.

By far the best around. Was here the yesterday. The staff, despite being absolutely rammed with orders and rude customers, are so nice and provide excellent food. I've read the previous review from 'Learning Locks' and it is absolutely nonsensical. There's no harm in waiting a bit. If you're in a rush just call up before hand. What they have left out when mentioning the price is that the burgers are monumental! Making the price more than fair as Bryon's Burger etc would charge 50 for something this size and quality. Also it's a fish and chip/burger place. Not McDonald's. If you say burger and chips obviously it'll be two different things as one's an American style burger bar connected to a fish and chip shop. If you want a happy meal complete with toy then go elsewhere. If you're thinking of coming here, go for it! Learning Locks has exaggerated as the burgers and chips are divine here! I will also just add, there's still a pandemic so please KEEP TO SOCIAL DISTANCING. Respect the staff they can't police social distancing and serve customers.
I think the way the owners of fish and fry and bb burger have helped the locals through lockdown was brill. Handing food parcels out so people can still eat amazing. And out of their own pockets too. Eveything is cooked to order too so waiting for order is expected especillay at these difficult times. And doing it so everyone is safe. Tina and andy are great friendly people who take prize in eveything they do. And they treat staff as family well done guys x

Good fish and chips. We are dog sitting nearby . Was advised that this was a good chippy. So we rang ,put our order in , turned up and picked up order. Very friendly place. Chips wrapped up in newspaper. Took fish and chips home and they where really good . Well done . Will differently call back in November.
