I popped in to order a takeaway, despite the simple order the female assistant got it wrong and overcharged me. The cod was delicious and fresh but the 2 male cooks who were preparing food were not wearing masks which is off putting. If they have a health condition which means they can't wear a mask then they should not be working.

Food was great. The starter for two was tasty and filling on its own. The linguini was flavoursome and well cooked. I feel like it was too oily and the calimari was a bit on the harder side. All in all, I enjoyed it.
Updating original review. Customer facing staff are now wearing masks which makes it more comfortable to go in. Their takeaway scampi and chips was amazing, and not shy on the vinegar ;) Service was good and the person on the till took time to explain the portion sizes when I asked.
Fantastic fish restaurant, a really high quality chippy that does fresh fish dishes for reasonable prices. Everything tasted fresh and and had a bit of a twist to make it stand out. Will definitely visit again. Be aware that inside is a bit smoky because of the cooking so clothes might smell like a chippy afterwards.
Yes Fish House! I've heard it's good because my flatmate raved about takeaway before but I only tried it tonight and it was awesome. Interior is cool and atmosphere chilled, staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was fab. Fresh fish in good batter, huge potions. Mushy peas were delicious (no mint!) As well as side salad. I also tried the new chicken burger and it was excellent. Very positive surprise, will be coming back! ️ketchup and sauces served in glass bottles.
