This is a hidden gem for fish and chips lovers. Local, homey and authentic. The portions are massive for a low price and the fish is fresh. I was served by a very kind man and the place was very clean! Cash only!
Had sausage in batter and chips with a curry sauce and can say genuinely that this is 1 of the best chip shops I’ve been to and I’ve been to quite a few as I’m a lorry driver, excellent portion of chips and was cooked fresh just for me as it was 10 mins away from closing will definitely be back for more thank you.
Ordered tonight. The fish was lovely. The chips were not but alot were hard. The Burgers were a let down, they were covered in burger sauce which my Son hates. It does not say that they will have this stuff on.them on their website. I rang to complain and was told this is standard to all burger places, it is not. Only used them so no cash handling would take place. Their other excuse was at checkout there is a Note section. There is not. There is a line for delivery instructions. It clearly states this is not for allergies etc. Wont use them again. Wasted money and child hungry still.
