The food and ambience of this place is excellent. The music is from the sixties and again great. The staff are polite and courteous and friendly. Both my wife and I had the standard Rock Eel and chips and this was more than enough for us. You can see into the kitchen and see the chefs preparing the food which is something you do not see enough of. The batter on the fish is light and fluffy, cooked in beef dripping and not at all greasy. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Visited Fish Dish today with my family after seeing high reviews on Google. Was not disappointed. We all had a lovely meal and the service was faultless. Plenty of food at a very reasonable price. Thank you!
Enjoyed our fish and chips which came wrapped in cardboard boxes or paper in a paper bag. Which I am really pleased about as trying to reduce plastic however the same can't be said about mushy peas which is a common thing so I will have to forget them in future. Good COVID-19 systems in place but service seems slow although they were working hard so not being a chip shop owner I can't offer a reason.
Best fish and chips ever! Chips are crispy but fluffy at the same time and the cod is just amazing! Massive portions too - love it!
