If I could give less than a star I would! Went to the chippy today. First time back in a long time, had previously sworn away from there due to quality of food. However due to some major error (and forgetfulness that the chips are dyer) on my part, I visited the chippy again tonight. I got there half an hr after it had opened, picked up some chips and a sausage (which was cooked fresh). Got home, and unwrapped the most disgusting chips I'd ever seen! They were so over cooked, I can only assume they were from the night before! The potatoe was non existant in the chips! Tried eatting some, but they were digusting! Plus to make things worse the sausage (which my daughter had been eatting) was still raw in the middle (only noticed this after she had startee eatting it!) One of the worst meals I've ever eatten!
I've been a customer for over 30 years. The chips are always just how I like them! Great food, friendly staff. We must support the places we enjoy so others can as well.
Fish and chips are always cooked fresh when we go, portions are fantastic for the price and the staff are lovely!
