This is the best fish I have ever had in my life, usually come here once a week and have to travel 30 miles, but today I had the worst experience ever. The fish was overcooked, and was very small despite paying for a large, the fish was very thin as well, very disappointed will not be returning.

Despite having visited Bridlington continually for many years this was our first visit to 149. It most definitely will not be our last. Never have I eaten better and my husband adores fish and chips so we have tried and tested widely! The fish was flavoursome, juicy and served in a crisp crunchy batter. The chips weren't soggy or greasy. All served piping hot and fresh in a box with a plastic fork and ample seasoning. What a fabulous meal, we drove for minutes to the seafront and overlooked the North beach whilst we ate. A meal to remember for all the right reasons!!
Has once won UK's best fish & chip takeaway. It still has same quality product. Highly recommended. Only problem is poor parking options and high quality product breeds queues to get it. There us no sit-in facility.
Available to suit any dietary requirements and the variety is excellent none greasy great packaging and very friendly staff
