Excellent place to visit. By far the best Octopus dish I have had. Great friendly service by Matteo. Highly recommend. Nice restaurant in an off-side street close to the Centre. Very attractive atmosphere. Good various menu and good quality food. Excellent service. Geared more to locals than to tourists

Nice restaurant in an off-side street close to the Centre. Very attractive atmosphere. Good various menu and good quality food. Excellent service. Geared more to locals than to tourists. Wine was very easy on the wallet and slipped down very easily. All in all a great evening out and would thoroughly recommend.

Delicious Osteria in the heart of Florence. The food was delicious, and tasty. We could tell that it was made using fresh products. Very pretty place. Special thanks to the very kind and professional waiters and Giovanni who was very friendly, generous and funny. I highly recommend!

Awesome Osteria! The food is so good, the service is perfect and casual. They bring you a beautiful plate of deep fried dough balls once you are sat in and that already tells you that you are in for a good meal. Everything we had wasn’t just the usual good Tuscan food, it was a step further than that. Even the dessert was perfect! And they brought us complimentary vin santo with cantucci, offered us coffee and they added a nice little slice of cheesecake next to our dessert. Sweetest people! We will come back!

Sweetest, ancient little man (Giovanni?) greets you at the door and shows you your table. Then your waiter begins bringing you the most wonderful things - that you haven’t even asked for - coccoli (honestly, the best little bites I’ve had in 15 years in Italy!) - a soft, generous portion of bread, and at the end of our meal we were given two desserts - one we had asked for and one we were treated (an orange cream cheesecake!!). And just when we thought we were about to pop, sweet wine and biscotti!! And finally, we were offered coffees at the bar when we paid the bill. When you’re treated so well, it makes the 4/person coperto justified. Even though it’s called an osteria, the prices and elegance are a bit more typical of a ristorante. But the presentation, the quality, the service - absolutely nothing is lacking! The tortellini we had were just so unique and excitingly delicious. And the apple cake - which can potentially be boring and tasteless, a dessert for babies, was absolutely scrumptious!!!! The crunchier top part was spicy and flavorful and the soft apple part - heavenly! Also, our waiter spoke Italian, French and English with us and we got a kick out of him! Such a great experience. Definitely bring friends and family here when they come to visit. They’ll be impressed!
