Interesting visit and great to see the building and artworks being kept in good order. It is worth a visit when passing, and on entry you are given a link to an app to here the history of the basilica. My only frustration is, why give link to an app, when there is no wi-if! I would have liked to know more during the visit but this was not possible.

A wonderful and beautiful church, also we could only see the outside due to Corona closing. The time it is open again for visiting, a must see.

One of my favourite places from Florence, may not look much interesting from the outside but once you step in .. oh my god , it is beautiful. This Basilica is of the oldest and largest churches in Florence. You can find some beautiful art inside. Definitely worth the visit.

Very nice cathedral, and a nice museum in the basement. It’s not allowed to take pictures inside the cathedral, but we saw lots of people doing it anyway and the guards seemed indifferent.
