Last time I was in here was in 1994 with the then girlfriend and decided to try it again a few hours ago when delivering something nearby...had a breaded haddock fish tea which turned out to be THE tastiest and best cooked fish I've ever had...needless to say, I won't be waiting another 25 years before returning to try out some more off their menu...

Stopped for a well earned brake from the road on my motorbike. I was arrived before opening but was welcomed in early to get warm by the really friendly staff. The food was just why I needed and more. The residential Cullen skink is really good! It can come with a delicate but yummy sandwich also for a few Bob extra. Shall definitely be back to this idylic town and this Inn with the family and the dug !
We ate at the restaurant and \Yummers\! This is a great place to have excellent pub food. Especially if you sit in the beer garden area ;) It was my first time ever having haggis (I ordered the starter). It was delicious! As a back up, just in case I found that I didn't like haggis, I ordered the pan fried chicken breast special. It was also very tasty!! With such great service, we will definitely be returning for a dinner meal while on our trip.

Very friendly for kids, which is a big positive. Second time we have been there after our walks, Would have like to see more quality options on the menu, then would have given it 4 out of 5. And if delivered on quality meals and service would be a 5/5. Could easily see myself driving out there for a meal and back and the valley is beautiful. Loved the table cloths and interior. Could definitely be 5/5 with just a little more TLC.
