Excellent selection of yarn and accessories, including fair trade yarn. Friendly service and lovely shop located in large building with lots of other local crafts and coffee shop. Highly recommended!
Love love love this shop. I only wish that it was nearer (I visited while on holiday), but they do mail order too so that's good. When I went the regular Knit and Chat group was running and it was lovely hearing them all in the background. The shop is laid out beautifully and it's easy to browse around. The wools are gorgeous and not the brands you get in high-street shops, rather they are from smaller producers, local and from elsewhere in the UK. The owner was really friendly, despite being very busy. The shop sits within a kind of artisan collective with other shops and galleries as well as a little cafe. I'd definitely go again when I have more time so I could poke around. Sadly I had a long car journey and a poorly husband to get home so it was a flying visit.
Lovely choice of yarns and books and very good guidance on the right yarn for a project!
