Dispute COVID restrictions, the pub has friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The food was delicious and the portions was generous. Would highly recommend. The small nachos will feed 4

Where do I start !! More dogs than people for a start I took my grandchildren there and it was more like a kennel than a restaurant dogs fighting, growling one owner had her dog on the table where you eat your food from. On top of that they need a chef ! How they can make such a mess of simple microwave warm up food I've no idea it was diabolical, I'm no chef but you can make simple food look nice and eatable it was neither. I've been to the bay lots of times and love it but the management need to do something about John Paul Jones it could be a gold mine with a little effort and thought.

Ordered a takeaway burger & chips. Nice Burger but they didn't give us any coleslaw or ketchup with the meal. Which it stated on the menu. So if you order a takeaway from them, ensure you check before you leave that everything is there what you ordered

Meals were expensive for what they were. Burgers were ok but nothing special. Chips were good. We had to send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't cooked. Wouldn't recommend and won't waste money there again.

It was great we got a few different things off the menu , only thing was we had to because there was only one meat on the carvery (beef) which my wife and child dont like . I quickly got rid of my sweetcorn onto my daughters plate but other than that everything tasted lovely. Beef was a little overcooked for my liking but plenty to go at , just could of done with a jug of gravy on the side .very pleasant staff and quick with there service.
