The most EPIC Sunday carvery you will ever encounter! Delicious slow cooked meats with so many trimmings your mind will explode! Super-friendly head chef, with an excellent team behind him! We enjoyed our meal so much, that we are going back tomorrow night to sample the home-made lasagne!! Let’s see if it’s as good as you say it is, Chef \u200d! Can’t wait! Thanks to all.

What a fantastic place to eat, and enjoy a lovely cocktail! The staff in the bar and the restaurant, were really very friendly and helpful. The chef, john and a waitress called Debbie, were lovely to chat to. The food was pleantiful and a pleasure to eat. Well recommended if youre staying in Filey..

It's very rare for me to post negative comments, but in this instance I feel it's totally justified. My family have been going to this restaurant for many years, but during our last couple of visits we have been made to feel unwelcome by certain members of staff. 5 weeks ago we booked the Sunday carvery for six people in person for 12.00 noon. So today we drove into Filey and arrived in plenty of time for our table. After standing in a queue for several minutes we were then told that our booking was for 2.00 and not 12.00. All our family members bear witness that we said 12.00 not 2.00, so we expressed our displeasure and left. We are in Filey every weekend for 10 months of the year, so I hope the owner and his staff appreciate what they will be missing in financial terms in the future. We will now take our business to a new pub that we have found in the past few weeks, where the staff are very friendly and the food is outstanding. Goodbye Smugglers Cove, you will miss us more than we will miss you!
Been to filey many times but never eaten here. Don’t pass it by, really good. Spotlessly clean. Lovely helpful staff and the food is excellent. Top marks.!
