A large nursery with a wide range of plants shrubs trees etc. Quite a lot of the plants etc are outside so they sometimes look a bit weather worn bit soon spring to life when planted. The price of plants is reasonable. Below what you would pay at a fancy nursery. This nursery does what it is supposed to do which is to sell plants. Not cane furniture, Christmas decorations or light fittings. A good old fashioned nursery. And a large car park to go with it.
Always friendly staff. Harry carried 6 bags of compost to our car. Lots of choice of plants, bulbs etc at very reasonable prices.
Richardson's Bakery had a trailer at the door, so I could have a lovely, warm, shortcrust, pork pie and a coffee before wandering around with a wheel barrow picking plants from the nursery. Which always has a good selection of plants, shrubs and fruit trees available at reasonable prices. Good to be able to support them during the Pandemic lock down.
