We went for breakfast here on Bank holiday Monday in August. We sat outside, which was fine but someone on a table near by was smoking... when will these places become smoke free. Service was fine but the breakfast did take a long time to arrive and wasn't particularly well presented but did taste good (and they had fried bread). The thing that I was MOST annoyed about is that a sign outside said that the place was part of the eat out scheme but when I asked, they say that this place wasn't of part of Chrlottes pub. Signs outside say Charlotte's, chef wears a Charlotte's uniform etc. I am sure that they're doing some kind of con here! Even the till receipt had the 1st Sept when it was 31st Aug ... something smells not right!

Dropped into here for lunch. A large vine tree grows inside the conservatory roof giving the place a mediteranean atmosphere. The staff were courteous and were wearing PPE, there was also a sanitising station at the door. Tables were well spaced and the area was clean. We had a bottle of white wine and a meal, the menu wasn't large but everything was good. We would go again if visiting Filey.
Excellent value, friendly staff. Spacious and clean premises. Good selection of food including vegetarian. Definitely be back.
