Wow! Little did we know what we had in store! Came across this little gem when traffic had been diverted due to road works on the A47. So it was the first but certainly won't be the last of our Takeaways from The Bridge Restaurant in Filby, as well as future special occasions in the lovely Restaurant. We all had different meals and all thoroughly enjoyed them - wonderful 'home- cooked food and massive servings! We agreed with previous contributors in all their praises! Personally I must give special mention to the fabulous Lemon Cheesecake - I have never tasted anything better. We will soon be back.

Nice, traditionally furnished English restaurant right by a beautiful lake. Service really nice (not too quick but very friendly), food great. Hand-made crisps always a big plus. Pleasant music selection!
Amazing food, some of the best in Norfolk. Beautiful setting sitting right on the broads. Very helpful and friendly, professional staff. 1st class service all the way and all food made with locally sourced ingredients. Can't recommend strongly enough
One of my favourite places as of this evening!! Absolutely amazing meal!! All 3 courses were super tasty and the choice was incredible. With a view out on the broads. This place is a must visit. I went with my Grandad who uses a wheelchair and we were able to pull up use the ramps and wheel him straight to the table! Super wheelchair user friendly too! Lovely atmosphere and all socially distance adherent! We will definately be visiting again! Thank you to everyone in tonight that made our evening very pleasant! 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to try somewhere new or to find a new favourite!!
Food was just spectacular and the service was excellent with amazing scenery outside overlooking the lake.
