The lake view room can see mountains with the lake. But there is traffic sound all day long. Complimentary breakfast is simple but tasty! There are 24 hours coffee and tea and hot water free for use.

We tried to order baked spaghetti but the oven was not ready she told us they will start the oven at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon? Strange if people are coming to have lunch! If the chef is not in then just say it
Stayed here in September while on our honeymoon. Was greated by a sweet woman who always offered extra help when she would see us. The rooms were clean and the view is incredible. My husband and I were so grateful for the sauna. There is a little diner with a bar inside the lodge, nothing special but much appreciated. The breakfast buffet the next morning was simple and perfect plus the view of the mountains made it all the more charming. It is off the grid, as advertised, so the WiFi is almost non existent but there is a TV in the room. WiFi is not on the top of our list of necessities we were just grateful for a clean and comfy bed. While being the cheapest in the area it was still on the pricier side. But hey, we were in the middle of one of the most gorgeous and secluded places on earth. Its not cheap or easy to get supplies there, so I get it. Would 100% go back and have used it as a selling point to go visit Lake Louise/ Yoho.
Nice hostel with a unique view on a turquoise lake. Good breakfast.
Stayed here for one night, the cheapest available place I could find in the Lake Louise area, but nevertheless much more expensive than my usual budget. Staff at check in friendly, room comfortable, clean and well maintained. Additional facilities included a sauna. Continental breakfast was decent too. If it hadn't been so expensive I would have rated more highly, but at the price I cannot. I'd say for CA150 it'd be good value, at CA230 it was overpriced.
My grandmother accidentally left her purse behind at the Lodge, and our group had made it to Kelowna before this was finally realized. The staff were amazing in ensuring that it got back to us in Vancouver in one piece. What could have been a big disappointment on the trip turned into a masterful display of customer service. We particularly wanted to mention Samantha & Amy as great ambassadors. Definitely would visit again. Thanks to everyone at The Great Divide Lodge.
Beautiful location. Pleasent staff. Rooms clean and warm. Heating came on in the night when we were there (in the summer), so a bit smothering! Holes in carpet in bar, so not for a long stay, but Ok for an overnight.
For a three star hotel, it was reasonably good. The place is old but clean and most of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which we weren't expecting. There was also a fridge in the room. There's a generator outside which you can vaguely hear. Unfortunately there was a bit of a pong in the bathroom, and the extractor fan didn't seem to work. Awesome red Thai curry for 15!
