Great to see that there are still great quality fish mongers around. Ffrench's is excellent. Super range of fresh fish. Had some amazing scallops on my last visit. Much better than buying fish from a supermarket.

Called in yesterday on a whim for some advice and ended up purchasing more than I actually needed as it all looked so good... Thank you for the advice was spot on The fresh mackerel and the Swordfish Steak was superb on the BBQ and was a hit with the family - knew I should have brought more!! Swordfish - lightly Grilled with fresh lemon juice drizzled over during cooking then once served a touch more lemon - perfect Makerel - just scored the flesh lightly, rubbed olive oil over (v lightly) and just Grilled drizzled with lemon whilst cooking So much so the family now want a fish BBQ next time instead of meat which is unheard of in this family Sushi grade fish advice was excellent thank you - look forward to using the Tuna and Salmon in my first Sushi making experience!! So great to have a shop like this in our High Street. Will be back ASAP.. Shop Local Support Local Be Local
