Brilliant service! I have never seen a more professional and quicker response from any other place. I often need to contact the surgery and ask questions in connection to my parents , who are registered there, and we get help and support straight away! The most amazing and helpful person in there is Ms Julie Eschalier, who is always unbelievably professional and diligent and goes out of her way to give us the most helpful information! It is above and beyond I have seen anywhere else and I am forever thankful to her!

What can I say. A different Dr every time I’ve needed to see one, most of them were ok to be honest. I wish I had my old Dr, Dr Chat from Plumstead. So kind and understanding. It would be even better if my new Drs followed things up. They never have in 5 years or more

I’ve been a patient of the practice for at least 25 years and always had great service. Many of the bad reviews talk about having to wait weeks for an appointment. If something is URGENT you can be seen in the morning at the DROP IN AND WAIT clinics. You will have to wait, probably for at least an hour, but you’ll be seen (unless the maximum number of patients is exceeded.) Unlike many other surgeries if you arrive by 10 you can be pretty much guaranteed to be seen that day. In my experience they try to get very young children seen reasonably promptly but there will be waits. BOOKED appointments are mainly for routine checks for people with chronic illnesses like diabetes. OTHER SURGERIES have only booked appointments. They usually keep a few appointments for urgent cases on the day but if you don’t get one of those you’ll have to try again the next day. You may wait less but you’re less likely to be seen on the day. Drop in and wait minimises the waste of doctors sitting around waiting for patients who don’t turn up for booked appointments. Recently I had to take my grandson to Ferryview as he had a persistent pain that he’d been sent home from school with. We had to wait about an hour before we were seen. The doctor was excellent and thought there was a simple explanation but sent us to hospital to have tests done to make sure it wasn’t an appendix. The wait was worth it to get something done quickly.
