Warm, welcoming, friendly, generous and loud! This is a church for people who find more traditional church isn’t the right “fit” for them, but who still want to be part of the body of Christ. And for anyone who isn’t familiar with that term, come and find out what it means to be part of a community who really do love one another.

Our family have come to Sunnyhill several times when visiting family in Ferndown. We LOVE this church! There is always a smiling face to welcome you when you arrive and you immediately feel very much part of the ‘church family’. Our children enjoy the kids church activities as much as the bouncy worship before they go out. If you are looking for a church to visit, or you live nearby and just want to check them out, then I would definitely recommend popping along on a Sunday morning....

Beautiful welcome. It was tipping with rain (torrential) and members of the team were outside greeting us in and providing umbrella cover! The gathering was generational, the worship was exuberant and Spirit filled, the Word, around 'Resilience', was relevant and delivered in a relational yet robust preach. The hall itself provided good accommodation whilst the people created a warm atmosphere plus great refreshments! There seems plenty of opportunity to connect into meaningful, small groups throughout the week. If you are looking for a community to help you draw close to God the two words I would use to encourage you to explore this church are 'relevant and relational'.

Our family love coming to Sunnyhill church when we are visiting family in Ferndown. We always receive such a warm welcome. You can sense the Spirit of God through the incredible worship and then the sound Biblical teaching which is so relevant to navigating 21st century life. I always take away nuggets of truth to help me live out my life. Coffee and cake after the service is also amazing! The kids church team are so dedicated to the children, my 9 year old son loves the worship and teaching “because it’s so lively and very easy to get in deep and understand the true meaning of worship”. My 11 year old daughter also loves Sunnyhill church “you can get really deep into the worship and the whole place is like a big family”. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday experience of church.

Ferndown Community Christmas

I love it! Authentic, normal, friendly people who are lively and full of a sense of purpose. There's a strong sense that God is real, active and ready to help - as are the church family at Sunnyhill Ferndown. I feel like I've come home. (Great coffee, fabulous Kids' program, lovely prayer team and cracking music too!)
