I have been curling in this club for over 10 years, a short spell in regards to some of our lifetime members with over 50 years at FCC. I was new to Fergus when I joined. I was welcomed and made to feel as though I had always been there. The majority of friends I now have in town are all due to the Fergus Curling Club. I have my daughter curling and she loves it, she has been going since she was 5 years old, she too has made some lasting friendships through the sport. This is the only sport that we both can play as we age throughout our lives, and have fun doing so. At this club you will see how wonderful the community of Fergus is, because the whole club is run by volunteers. We have many different bonspeils throughout the year, from new curlers up to advance levels. Every game ends in a round table discussion of the shots made and the shots missed, sometimes by your own teammates, but it is all in fun. So if you have have always wondered about the sport, stop in one night and have a drink and check it out. We all love to talk about curling!

Very \warm\ and welcoming club. As a new member I have been treated very well. Lots of opportunity to play, facilities are great, and people are friendly. What more could you want in a curling club? Glad to be a member! If you're new to curling, give them a call: they have a great learn-to-curl program, and great relaxed, non-competitive leagues.
