Good work at a fair price. Family business going into the 3rd generation. Jim, the current owner, is a pleasant guy. Got 2 snow blowers and a lawn mower running in 4 days. All had been neglected for years, but were worth repairing. Some rough edges (cover bolts not replaced and cosmetic touches that would have been nice), but lovely engine work. Shop is in the barn; rustic. Yard is an elephant's graveyard of old & new tractors and gear, unpaved, very country, but like I said, good work.

What ever u do. Do not take a scooter to Earl's place. I took mine there and they had it for 3 months and did not fix the problem. Put a variator and clutch on it after 3 months and still wasnt the fix. The secretary was very ignorant and unprofessional when I called after 2 weeks of them having it and was asking if they diagnosed the problem and she was very ignorant to me . Jim was very professional but has no idea about scooters. So if you have a scooter do not take it there.
