Beautiful fresh ingredients with easy to follow instructions. Some really unusual dishes I wouldn’t have thought of trying, all taste amazing. I do think it would be better if I could choose say fortnightly deliveries rather than having to stick to weekly as boxes are confirmed really quickly and cannot be cancelled once locked in, but overall this is a fabulous concept and very reasonably priced for what you receive. Same price as fish and chips or a dodgy kebab. I know which I prefer

I am unable to comment on the food, but so far the service has been terrible. My initial order was through Groupon. They billed me 40 for another box before the first had arrived. I explained that they've billed me before I've tried the food and decided if recipe boxes are for us. The advisor replied with the following, bearing in mind that today is December 2nd: Chat (Red Rickshaw) Hi Aaron, Thank you for getting in touch and I am sorry to hear you are cancelling your subscription. Thank you for trying out our boxes, I hope that you enjoyed the recipes. I can confirm that I have deactivated your subscription. I am unfortunately unable to refund for orders that are already processed. Your order for 09-12-2020 has been processed, and this is the last order you will receive from us. So why are they unable to cancel when the box will not be sent for another week! I will arrange a charge back through Visa and I would advise anyone else experiencing problems to do the same.

I'll start with the positive: the actual recipes are very good and tasty. Now for the negative... - In my first box I was sent the wrong type of pastry, so I had to go out and purchase the correct ingredients (this is the smallest issue). - I puchased a wowcher entitling me to, quote \3 recipes boxes for two\, understanding that this means three recipe box deliveries, each recipe catering for two people. The minumum number of recipes that can be ordered per box is two, so this would equate to 3 boxes, 6 recipes and 12 meals. Alas, I have since been informed this only qualified me for \3 recipes\ and since I'd only ordered 2 recipes in my first box when the code was applied, I was then charged full price for... - My second box, which was due to arrive 1.5 weeks after my first, was billed at 40, before I had recieved my first box. This should have been free of charge, as my wowcher qualifies me for 3 recipe box deliveries for two. - Not only that, but my second box, for which I'd only ordered 2 recipes (as was logged in my account, errenously had an additonal recipe added and charged from nowhere - After contacting customer service, the response I got was unsatisfactory (and slow) - they offered me either a 20 credit on my account for another order, or a 13 refund for the extra recipe I didn't order. In other words, no compensation, or even honouring the deal I have paid for, and I have also had to cancel my third box to avoid getting charged again. A shame as I know this is a new company - but needs to its game to compete with the other subscription box services (where I am a regular customer). UPDATE: they eventually agreed to refund me for the second box very reluctantly (still not honouring the full deal) however the said box never arrived, DPD says they received details but no package. I’ve now been waiting 4 days for my food to arrive and no response from customer services. Thanks Jasmine
