I've been coming here for a good 20 years, I have never seen the decor change during that time. But I'm all for the food. We booked during the eat out scheme, recieved a phone call a few days before asking for a deposit of 10 per person. It was booked for 8 of us. Slightly steep when I had a small child & a baby. After finding a babysitter, they changed it to 5pp. VERY money orientated. The cokes are served out of a bottle, which are always flat. The pickle tray was very disappointing, we ordered 2 between 6 of us. Both trays weren't even half full. We had to ask them to refill when we all only had a poppadom each. Onion bhajis are without a doubt the best I've ever had, very crispy. The duck starter was very nice too. The main course never fails, always tasty. I absolutely love the curries from here. Definitely one of best on the coast. Service can be slow but was pretty good on this occasion. However, some dried rice did fall from supposedly clean plates. It's abit pricy for what it is. Without the discount it worked out 24 each. We all only had 1 drink each, not everyone had a starter, bread, we was sharing rice etc. It's bit of a shame because the food overall is absolutely lovely. I'll be back, but not in any rush doing so.

Awful. Entrance looks a mess. We thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt though and we were very disappointed. Strangely as we walked in a delivery seemed to be taking place and the driver told us we could sit ound there\. No other staff acknowledged us. Restaurant was mainly empty. After getting a waiters attention we were then ignored again for a few minutes... Then placed drinks order while the waiter ogled my wife. Eventually the drinks order came. We said we were ready to order from the menu. At that point we were promptly ignored again. After about 15 minutes we gave up and asked for our drinks bill.... We were told to go to bar and pay. We left. Worst restaurant I've been to in 34 years!

We had a really lovely night here. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we didn't feel rushed. We would highly recommend a visit here and we will definitely be back! Thank you.

Over the last couple of weeks we have been to this restaurant on Three separate occasions for One reason or another. The food is excellent however the service needs some attention. The staff are not very engaging and very seldom smile. No small talk or banter is forthcoming and your left feeling a little uncomfortable when you should be enjoying a nice evening out. On our final visit the restaurant was busy, the last eat out to help out. Our table was booked for 6.30pm, we waited almost 30 minutes for a waiter to take our drinks order then a further hour to receive our starter then an additional 40 minutes before the mains arrived. In total we spent Three hours there and not One member of staff apologised for the delays. The final straw was paying the bill. No thank you, please call again. Just a right and then walked off. Sorry Fayez but you've lost a customer. Shame because I could not fault the food.
