Good place to take kids if it’s cold and rainy. They enjoyed the exhibits and I did too! They recommend a 5 donation per person and masks were required at this time. I even picked up a book at the gift shop. Prices were comparable to Amazon. I’ll be back to learn more soon.

If you have any interest in US military history, and Airborne and Special Operations forces in particular, this is a must-see museum. Although relatively small in size overall, the exhibits, artifacts and aircraft and vehicles are expertly displayed in a way that allows visitors to walk through the timeline of airborne and SF history from their inception in the 1940s through today. The simulator ride is family friendly and of course you have the gift shop for all of your ABN and SF needs. It is an impressive place.

An Informative, FREE museum. The kids seemed to notice several details that lead to questions and a little extra research. It starts with the history in world War II and goes through modern-day Afghanistan. After an exploring an area we regroup to share fun facts and stories. It was a great place to visit for Veterans Day! As with war, there were some bloody scenes that we refocused for our younger ones. We wrapped it up with the simulator which was enjoyed by the kids. (although a bit cheesy as an adult...because there was no storyline to keep me engaged...it was just movement for the sake of it.)

Very amazing place. Clean, well kept and maintained space with plenty of very lifelike informative exhibits. Worth the trip out! The exhibits are free minus one you have to buy tickets for but it’s an immersive simulator so it makes sense. Make the trip, you won’t be disappointed!

The COVID-19 hours for the musuem is from Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 4:30 pm. So unfortunately, it's not opened on the weekends. However, admission is free so donations are greatly appreciated. It's a very well organized museum that focuses on airborne and special ops from the 1940s to present day. A lot of history and action displays that bring the stories to life. There is currently a GWOT (Global War on Terror) Memorial Flag Exhibition that will pull on your heart strings from the sacrifices made. It is made of around 7,000 dog tags and makes a lasting impression. This special exhibit should be here until the end of the year. Don't forget to hit up the gift shop! A lot of really neat memorabilia to check out.
